02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The charity aims to provide a high quality housing support, respite and social inclusion service for individuals with varying degrees of ability including older people, people with learning disabilities and mental heath problems. We use a person centered approach ensuring individuals needs are at the centre of the support carried out. We encourage individuals to be as independent as possible and provide a flexible service to ensure individuals social, personal and emotional needs are being met.

Constitutional objectives
The company's objects are:- (1) To advance health (including the relief of human suffering) and to relieve those in need by reason of age, ill health (including mental health problems), disability (both physical and learning disabilit)y, alcohol dependency or some other disadvantage resulting in additional support needs, within Inverclyde ('the Operating Area') which may include (without prejudice to that generality: - (A) providing care and other services for such individuals. (B) providing befriending services for such individuals. (C) providing social inclusion opportunities for, and promoting the independence of, such individuals. and all with a view to alleviating social isolation and distress. (2) To relieve those in need by reason of their having the care of an individual falling within paragraph (1) above.
