02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The charity is set up to provide activities for young people according to the Policy Organisation and Rules of the Scout Association. This is done by holding weekly meetings for 3 different age groups - beavers, cubs and scouts, where they undertake a wide variety of activities. These will include games, first aid, learning new skills, helping others to learn, outdoor and environmental activities, adventurous activities and generally learning to live together as a diverse group of people. Fundraisng activities are organised by adults to support this work, so that no-one need be excluded by lack of funds.
