02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
To promote the benefit of children and other needy individuals in the area known as Hilton, Inverness and such other areas as the Trustees deem appropriate by associating with the local and statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and promote facilities so that the conditions of life of the aforementioned children and individuals may be improved and their physical mental and spiritual capacities developed and further to operate a community centre, with cafe and other facilities, including rooms for hire by members of the community and other organisations. to provide support to the community by the provision of assistance and education for children and adults. to provide other services as needed by the community and its members and to do so with a Christian ethos.

Constitutional objectives
The trust objects are hereby amended to be the following:- a) the prevention or relief of poverty, b) the advancement of education, c) the advancement of religion, d) the advancement of health, e) the advancement of citizenship and community development, f) any other charitable purpose allowed by the law of Scotland, and in particular without prejudice to the foregoing generality, to promote the benefit of children and other needy individuals in the area known as Hilton, Inverness and such other areas as the Trustees deem appropriate by associating with the local and statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and promote facilities so that the conditions of life of the aforementioned children and individuals may be improved and their physical mental and spiritual capacities developed and further to operate a community centre, with cafe and other facilities, including rooms for hire by members of the community and other organisations. to provide support to the community by the provision of assistance and education for children and adults. to provide other services as needed by the community and its members and to do so with a Christian ethos.
