What the charity exists to do

Carry out the functions of the Committee of Management of Durisdeer Village Hall as set out in the Deed of Trust of October 1960 to give the community a facility to enjoy community events, sports activities, educational classes and a centre for community clubs. To be inclusive to all ages and genders and to maintain and improve the facilities for all in the community. During the winter months Bowling and Stick Making clubs meet weekly and Durisdeer SWI meet monthly. Private functions such as birthday parties, funeral teas and other family events take place from time to time. Community run activities such as quiz nights and ceilidhs are also held.
