To promote the benefit of all people, and in particular young people, residing in the village of Whitecross, without distinction of race, nationality, gender, religious or political opinion, and whether individualiy or collectively, by associating the local and statuary authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interest of social welfare, for recreation and other leisure-time occupations so that the conditions of life of the said people may be improved and that all on a voluntary non-profit making basis.
