Constitutional objectives

3.1. The charitable purposes of the Trust are: 3.1.1. To advance education, in particular, by: a. supporting the development and delivery of high-quality education, training, and competence frameworks relevant to safety-critical industries and to oversee the compliance of such frameworks and standards for the public benefit. b. improving access to skills development for the public benefit, particularly for individuals entering, re-entering, or progressing within the workforce, including those from underrepresented or disadvantaged groups. c. supporting workforce development for the public benefit, particularly within the energy sector, through the provision and support of education, training, and skills programmes that improve employability, workforce resilience and participation in evolving labour markets. d. collating research into skills, training, and workforce needs, and to disseminate the useful results of such research to inform policy, practice, and alignment between skills provision and labour market demand. e. collaborating and supporting partnerships between education providers, industry, government, and other stakeholders to enhance education, skills development, and workforce capability. f. advancing public safety and promoting competence by supporting education and training that enhances safety, competence and risk reduction for workers and the wider public in safety-critical industries and verifies same through maintenance of global training repository. and 3.1.2. To advance equality and diversity for the public benefit by promoting inclusive access to education, training, and employment opportunities, and supporting the participation and progression of underrepresented groups
