Constitutional objectives

a. the advancement of human rights, conflict resolution or reconciliation by the provision of a co ordinate mediation service throughout Argyll and Bute which promotes respect for relationships, reconciliation, conciliation and mediation to individuals and their children, whether or not involved in court proceedings, or disputes of whatever kind, in adapting to or coping with their conflict relationships. b. To deliver a comprehensive and co-ordinated community service in the area of Argyll & Bute supporting the amicable resolution of difficulties ensuring the highest standards of education training and professional practice of mediation and by increasing public awareness of mediation. c. To provide mediation, counselling, education and support services (to include provision of child contact centres) which meets the needs of such persons d. To promote, encourage co-operation with courts, statutory and voluntary bodies and all organisations with such persons are involved e. to promote and encourage research ,understanding and improvements of the rights which supports the interests of such persons connected with these objects. (b) To promote, a comprehensive and co-ordinated community service in Argyll & Bute designed to meet the special needs of such persons and to promote counselling and mediation with the objects specified at 3(a) above. (c) To promote and encourage co-operation with and amongst and support for courts, statutory and voluntary bodies and all organisations and individuals whatsoever or whomsoever involved in any way with such disputes. (d) To work and campaign for the understanding and improvement of the rights and interests of such persons.
