02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We originally started with the intention of providing a safe meeting space and providing art activities, sometimes for marginalised or disadvantaged groups, and over the years this has remained an important part of what we do. We currently provide several regular weekly fused glass classes as well as various workshops with people attending from across Fife. We also work with adults with learning difficulties as well as currently providing space for another art groups for children as well as a new-start dance group, also working with children and young people. It is always a joy to get positive feedback from new participants at the various activities, and it makes us realise, more than ever, just how important what we manage to do to make people’s lives better, really is. We also facilitate a tai chi group and have space available for groups and activities that are in keeping with our core principals as laid out in our constitution.
