02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

To promote the teaching and playing of the bagpipes in the local area. We do this by providing tutors and facilities to learn Scottish piping and drumming. Unfortunately as has been the case for over 10 years no-one has been interested in taking over the band , this situation has only worsened since the pandemic, as such it is our intention to wind up the band and dispose of its assets in the next 2 years or so.
