Constitutional objectives

The group shall be a charitable organisation whose objects are to promote the benefit of the Senior Citizens of the community in the Blantyre area by associating the local and statutory bodies, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to promote the provision of facilities, in the interests of socia} welfare, for recreation and other leisure time occupation thereby improving the conditions of life of the aforementioned Senior citizens without distinction of race, religion, political or other opinions through: • Organising social activities for the senior citizens in the Hamilton area • Making recommendations for programming and encouraging the use of Priestfield Senior Citizens Hall and other local facilities
