02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
With the help of a Tanzanian partner NGO we have built schools and supported sponsored children through nursery, primary, secondary and further education in a rural area. We do this by creating a sponsorship programme with sponsors donating regularly to support the children from deprived backgrounds to reach their potential. This year we were helped in the construction of a nursery school by donations from two Rotary groups. North Fife rotary and Cupar Rotary.

Constitutional objectives
The aims of the association shall be to relieve the poverty and advance the education of the inhabitants of the Ruvuma region of Tanzania by assisting and/or liaising with Community Based Organisations on a variety of projects designed to improve their conditions of life.
