What the charity exists to do

Charity is set up to help the advancement of education and health in Malawi. With donations, they continue to support the scholarship award programme with aims to provide basic primary and secondary education targeted principally on orphans and other vulnerable children

Constitutional objectives

(FIRST) To hold the Trust Funds in trust for distribution in such amounts as the Trustees shall from time to time determine (i) to individuals or organisations however constituted whose purposes are charitable for (One) the promotion, maintenance, improvement and advancement of health and welfare services in Malawi or elsewhere in Africa as the Trustees herein appointed may see fit including the foundation or support of orphanages, hostels or other accommodation for children or others who are poor, needy, destitute or otherwise in need of accommodation, food, education or other welfare services. and (Two) the promotion and advancement of education in health and welfare for young people and the public generally. (ii) for the advancement of education and training of young people in Malawi (or elsewhere in Africa as the Trustees herein appointed may see fit) in particular, but the public generally. (iii) to assist the charitable objectives of organisations working with young people in Malawi (or elsewhere in Africa as the Trustees herein appointed may see fit, or any of the purposes set out in sub-paragraphs (i) and (ii) hereof provided the purposes and policies of such organisations would be recognised as charitable in the United Kingdom were such organisations based in the United Kingdom. (iv) for any other purpose which the law of the United Kingdom may from time to time regard as charitable.
