02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Facilitate and fund higher education support through online courses from UK universities for health and child support workers (adult palliative care and dementia care. children with special educational needs and child hospice care) in China. Provide information about the work of our partners in China to churches in Scotland through the website, printed newsletter and two open meetings each year.

(a) To advance education, promote good health and promote the benefit, in the interest of social welfare, of those living in China. (b) To advance the education of the general public, membership of SCCG, churches and secular institutions about the cultural, social, political and religious aspects of China. (c) To advance, encourage and support the Christian witness in China. (d) To promote such similar charitable purposes, objects or institutions in such proportions and manner as the Trustees think fit.
