02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The charity is a community choir (no audition required for members) who meet once a week to rehearse. The choir performs an annual Christmas and Summer Concert and is also available for 'sing-outs', predominantly to local care homes and other local institutions. The choir also organises an annual 'Come & Sing' day, giving singers who might be in other local choirs, or not presently in a choir at all, the chance to spend the day rehearsing and then performing a known choral music work.

Constitutional objectives
The objects of the organisation shall be to promote, develop and maintain knowledge and enjoyment of choral music in all its aspects by the presentation of public choral works and concerts for, and in, the community. and for such other similar purposes at the discretion of the committee.
