02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The Trust's objective is the provision of festive lighting in Helensburgh and the provision of recreational activities and the organisation of these. The Trust provides, stores, repairs, maintains and installs Helensburgh's festive lighting display. The Trust maintains a storage and maintenance facility, organises all Health and Safety training and fundraises to cover the costs of the project.

Constitutional objectives
The Organisation has been formed to benefit the people of Helensburgh and the three electoral wards of Helensburgh and Lomond as a whole. (“the Community”). 4.1 The provision of festive lighting in Helensburgh, the provision of recreational facilities and the organisation of recreational activities, with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the Community as defined in clause 4. 4.2 The advancement of citizenship or community development.
