02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
our charity aims to promote awareness of fair trade locally and to encourage purchases of fairtrade goods, as well as supporting campaigns to improve trade standards. We employ a part time education officer who delivers workshops in schools and the wider community to increase understanding of the fait trade initiatives. We support the work of the local fair trade steering group and the events that they facilitate.
