02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

We give the most Vulnerable Children in our area New, Good Experiences. Our children come from disadvantaged backgrounds. Allowing foster and adoptive children to socialise with other children in similar circumstances. The foster child’s need of being treated equal to other children will be addressed. These Vulnerable children were unlikely to achieve or maintain a reasonable health or development before coming into care. They had little opportunity to achieve or participate in activities. We provide a meeting place, once a month, the adults can get together for the purpose of mutual support and encouragement in their fostering tasks and to organise activities and social events. We have helped the young people to recognise their own strengths and the challenges will help the young people build self-acceptance and confidence. The children have little trust in adults so we provide opportunities for the children to connect with each others and build trusted relationships with adults.
