What the charity exists to do
The chairty is set up to advance the education of the public in the art of brass bands and achieves this through a series of musical performances throughout the year as well as providing musical education to young people via its youth band and lesson programmes.

Constitutional objectives
The object of the band shall be to advance the education of the public in the art of brass band music by the promotion and encouragement of all efforts appertaining to brass bands and their music and the presentation of public performances and recitals.
