02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Money raised is invested to provide money annually from interest on the capital sum invested. Trustees meet approx twice per annum to consider requests from the school for funding. Staff and pupils are consulted and the head teacher submits the request to the trustees. Summary: To maximise the quality of educational educational experience for those attending Rothes Primary School and Nursery. To finance transportation costs for pupils on educational trips.

Constitutional objectives

1 For payment of the expenses of administering the Trust hereby created. and 2. for payment or application of the whole free income (or even the capital) of the Trust Fund from time to time in the Trustees' charge to assist, promote, maintain and support as principal beneficiaries Rothes Primary School ('the School') in all its functions as a primary school for teaching, education, study and development of their , pupils through the provision at or through the School of opportunities for education and activities which would not be required to be provided by the education authorities under their statutory obligations from time to time in place, and which therefore would not otherwise be available to the pupils or to the School, and all related activities which the Trustees consider appropriately directed to this object.
