02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Recognising that several of our retired colleagues may be in need of some financial assistance, donations are made twice a year to each of the beneficiaries. The decisions on what the donation should amount to and the people who should be in receipt is taken at meetings of the Trustees.

Constitutional objectives
a. for the amelioration of poverty suffered by any beneficiary b. for the improvement of the living circumstances of any beneficiary. under declaration that the granting refusal or withholding of any payment to any beneficiary or applicant for assistance shall be in the sole discretion of the Trustees who shall not be obliged to give any reason for any decision that they shall make and whose exercise of the discretionary powers which they shall enjoy shall not be open to question by any person whomsoever.
