02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The BB exists to support the local community. Our weekly activities are designed to provide out of school opportunities to augment the formal education of young people, and expose them to new activities - camping, water sports etc. In these times of growing mental health issues, our activities also focus on building resilience and providing safe spaces assist development. We have found that in areas of deprivation, low self esteem is rife and we encourage our young people to see how education and training provide opportunities to have a better life than they may have grown up in.

Constitutional objectives
The Object of the Brigade shall be the advancement of Christ's Kingdom among Boys, and the promotion of habits of Obedience, Reverence, Discipline, Self-Respect, and all that tends towards a true Christian Manliness
