02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The Boys' Brigade has faith in young people and provides them with opportunities to learn, grow and discover in a safe, fun and caring environment which is rooted in the Christian faith. We hold weekly meetings with a variety of activities, including, team games and sports, hands-on challenges and projects, badge work, competitions, and trips/residentials through the year. There’s also a short thought of the week.

Constitutional objectives
The Object of the Brigade shall be the advancement of Christ's Kingdom among Boys, and the promotion of habits of Obedience, Reverence, Discipline, Self-Respect, and all that tends towards a true Christian Manliness
