What the charity exists to do

3rd Montrose Rainbows are part of Girlguiding, the UK's largest charity for girls and young women which is governed by a Royal Charter. The Rainbows are for girls aged 4 to 7, and they follow a programme of informal education provided by Girlguiding. This programme aims to teach the girls about their world and how they can help it, and about helping others, friendship and having fun.
