What the charity exists to do
OPAL Trust is set up to advance the Christian faith in the Majority World (particularly Africa, Asia and Latin America) by facilitating the provision of affordable Bibles and other Christian literature and resources to support the work of Christian leaders and their ministries.

Constitutional objectives
The Company’s purposes are: The advancement of the Christian Faith in accordance with the Statement of Faith set out in Article 7 (a) (ii) (particularly, but not exclusively, in Majority World developing countries and poorer areas of the World) (a) by the provision of both affordable and free Christian literature (in paper, electronic or digital or any other format) and (b) by the provision of any other resources to achieve these purposes through the printing, production and publication of Christian literature either by the Company or third parties and to establish printing, production and publication projects and facilitate similar projects for others who are involved in Christian mission
