02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We are a non-denominational, family church in the north of Paisley. The organisation is supervised by a Management Team of Pastors, Elders and Office Bearers. We are a diverse congregation of all ages, backgrounds, and nationalities. Our services incorporate contemporary worship and Biblical teaching. But Church is much more than Sunday services. Our Community Hall and Cafe are the hub of our activities. Teams of volunteers facilitate groups and events for all ages and interests. The Mossy Cafe is open to the public, providing a warm and welcoming environment and affordable food and drink. 'Clothed In Love' is our anti-poverty initiative, distributing pre-loved children's clothing to vulnerable families in Renfrewshire. Refugee-assisting charity 'Sewing2gether All Nations' is based within our premises. We also work alongside Rescue Aid Mission, a charity based in Ghana, where we have built a church 'Mossvale Community Sanctuary' and sponsor 'Mossy International Primary School'.
