02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Wild Things! provides outdoor and nature-based learning, health and wellbeing activities for children, young people and adults, including older people, people with disabilities and unpaid carers. We work with schools, communities and partner organisations to improve access to the natural environment, develop skills and confidence, and promote health, wellbeing and environmental responsibility. We also deliver conservation and habitat restoration work, including removing invasive non-native species and supporting biodiversity. In addition, we provide accredited training and work with partners on environmental education, climate-ready schools and STEM learning.
