To provide recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. and To advance citizenship or community development through the furthering of the foregoing purposes so as to provide benefit resulting in a high quality of life, people fulfilling their potential in terms of education and training, good health, employment, recreation and general well-being, in a clean environment and with ready access to good, well coordinated support services.
