02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Our purpose is to help to purchase and donate (locally) medical equipment - primarily for emergency use, or to aid diagnosis and treatment of certain medical conditions, at a local level if possible. or to help enable training to that end - over and above that which is a statutory obligation of the NHS to provide.

Constitutional objectives

2. Objects The association’s objects are to preserve and protect the good health of inhabitants of Kingussie, Newtonmore and District, by seeking to provide medical equipment (over and above that which it is the statutory obligation of the National Health service to provide). In pursuit of these objects, the association will be inclusive and non-discriminatory in line with The Equality Act (2010)
