To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Dunbar and its environs without distinction of sex, sexuality, political, religious or other opinions by associating the Loal Statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in an common effort to advance education and provide facilities, or assist in the interest of social welfare for recreation and other lesuire time occupation so that their conditioons of life may be improved 2) To promote the relief of disaster famine and disease in any part of the world and to further the work of charitable organisations operating in the affected areas
