To collect written material, photographs and oral information of local historic interest, advise and assist in the preservation of objects of local historic interests and maintain a record of the whereabouts of such objects. to organise lectures, discussions, exhibitions and expeditions and publish information. and to raise and recieve funds whether by public subscription donations or grants to assist in the above objects
