Constitutional objectives

18.1 In addition to the objects, purpose and powers of the Company as set out in the Memorandum of Association and without limitation to any other activities the Company is authorised to undertake, the Company may carry on, provide, undertake and engage in the following activities: 18.1.1 To relieve the needs and promote the welfare of persons in Dundee & Angus, Scotland, United Kingdom, worldwide who are in conditions of need or hardship or who are aged or sick and to relieve the distress caused thereby. 18.1.2 To support the prevention or relief of poverty by providing basic necessities such as food, clothing, or financial grants to those in need. 18.1.3 To offer small grants for projects that directly support local community needs, particularly focusing on underserved or disadvantaged populations. 18.1.4 To provide that, any surplus funds (profit), the charity will aim to distribute around 50% as small grant funding which supports Dundee & Angus, Scotland, UK-wide charities and worldwide. 18.1.5 To advance education in accordance with Christian principles. 18.1.6 To advance the Christian faith. and 18.1.7 To promote the benefit of young people, the aged and the disabled, without distinction of sex, sexuality, political, religious or other opinions by associating the local authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities, or assist in the provision of facilities, in the interest of social welfare for recreation and other leisure-time occupation so that their conditions of life may be improved.
