Constitutional objectives
The company's objects are: 4.1 To advance education (including in such ways as are part of the statutory requirement of the education authorities), principally among the residents of the Operating Area, through: 4.1.1 the provision and supervision of care and learning-orientated activities for school and pre-school children. 4.1.2 the provision of care, guidance, instruction, activities and support directed towards addressing the additional support needs of school and pre-school children where there are necessitous circumstances (that is, circumstances impacting the wellbeing of such children). and 4.1.3 increasing knowledge and awareness among school and pre-school children of the principles associated with maintaining good health and preserving the environment. 4.2 To promote and/or provide training in the skills associated with the care and supervision of school and pre-school children, 4.3 To relieve poverty, principally among the residents of the Operating Area, by enabling individuals in the local community who have the care of school and/or pre-school children (whether as parents or guardians), and who are experiencing financial hardship or other challenges impacting the lives of their children: (a) to attend training courses and programmes which are directed towards the acquisition of skills which will assist such individuals in obtaining paid employment, or (b) to maintain themselves in paid employment.
