02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We host an annual summer festival for the community in our village. Its an opportunity for local village groups to fundraise by running a stall at the festival. We organise a tea party and a fun run to help pay to hold the event. Please note in 2025 there was no summer festival, but we returned in 2026.

Constitutional objectives
To advance the education of the public in the arts, in particular by the provision of an annual event including music, arts and crafts, known as the Sensational Kintore Summer Festival. In furtherance thereof but not otherwise the Group shall seek to: (1) promote and support the Sensational Kintore Summer Festival which will be an annual event. (2) give all members of the community an opportunity to be involved in both visual and performing arts, either as participants or as an audience. [3) organise workshops, exhibitions, performances and events.
