Constitutional objectives

The company's objects are:- (1) To promote and encourage security, public safety, the prevention of crime and the reduction of the fear of crime within the West of Scotland ('the Operating Area'), in the interests of social welfare (2) To preserve, restore and improve the environment within the Operating Area through the provision, maintenance and/or improvement of public open space and other public amenities and other environmental and townscape regeneration projects (3) To advance education and promote training among residents of the Operating Area, with particular reference to skills which will assist the participants in obtaining paid employment or which will be of direct relevance to the tasks performed by the participants in the course of their employment (4) To relieve unemployment for the public benefit among residents of the Operating Area in such ways as may be thought fit, including assistance to find employment.
