02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We aim to supply necessary household items for anyone in need for whatever reason by means of referrals received from local authority and various other charities. Packs consist of bedding and general household items. Because the bulk of our supplies are donated by the public we try to respond to the individual needs when we can. This is helping to stop goods going to landfill which might otherwise would have happened. Kettles and toasters are p.a.t. tested by an authorised firm for free. Children are all provided with new bedding the funds for which are applied for to organisations. Hopefully individuals and families are given a help when most needed.
