02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Grangemouth andsurrounding areas without distinction of sex or race or of political,religious or other opinions by associating together the said inhabitants and the local authority, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance the education and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreational and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants and in furtherance of but not otherwise the association shall seek to:(a) maintain and manage whether alone or in co-operation withany local authority in the maintenance and management of acentre for activities promoted by the charity.(b) promote such other charitable purposes as may be from timeto time be determined. The association shall be non-party inpolitics and non-sectarian in religion.
