02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We provide an opportunity for adult male voices of all ages to sing together in four part a cappella harmony, in the barbershop style. We provide informal education in barbershop singing and provide public concerts, notably in the Edinburgh Fringe for the benefit of the general public. From time to time we may be invited to sing at other events, some charitable, as noted in our trustees' report. At Christmas, we do carolling in the centre of Edinburgh and put on a Christmas concert, all raising money for Prostate Scotland.
