Constitutional objectives

IN THE SECOND PLACE, to advance the arts, heritage and culture for the benefit of the public in the Royal Burgh of Campbeltown and elsewhere within the postcode area PA28 (the Purpose) by applying the whole or any part of the free income or annual produce and/or capital of the Trust and any accumulations of income (which together are referred to as the trust estate) to:- 1 increase public exposure to, appreciation of, or involvement in the arts including the development of new audiences. 2 provide opportunities for participation in the arts by people who might otherwise be excluded. 3 improve facilities and venues where the arts are performed. 4 encourage high standards by raising artistic skills and nurturing talent. 5 restore and preserve historic buildings and sites of historic or architectural importance, both by carrying on its own activities and by providing financial and other assistance to others promoting the same for public benefit, including without prejudice to the foregoing generality power to create charitable trusts for public purposes, in any case accumulating any income not so paid or applied or allocated and adding it to capital.
