02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Our purposes, as recorded in our constitution, are to advance, improve, develop, and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of wind band music in all its aspects by: i. Promoting the practice and performance of music on a communal and amateur basis, ii. Educating members of the Band in music and musical techniques, iii. Providing a community service by the public performance of music, and iv. Other such format as the Band shall determine.
