What the charity exists to do
The Charity was set up to organise activities to help promote integration of the Chinese Community into society and to offer advice and help by providing information and access to official bodies. We organise cross generational day trips each year, Mandarin & Calligraphy classes as well as promote meetings from other organisations for our members. We also promote Chinese Food through our inhouse café and offer a one stop shop for all our members of different nationalities to access information. We offer Hygiene Courses for all members who are working in the service sector as well as Interpretation and Translations services if required. We also offer advice on accessing the Chinese Via Service and information on customs when visiting China. We act as a go between the Chinese Consulate in Edinburgh and local business's as well a conduit for Chinese nationals who visit Scotland and encounter problems during their stay.
