What the charity exists to do
We own and manage land assets on behalf of the community to provide access to outdoor spaces and prevent development of historic sites. We also own the local football ground in order to allow them to manage it autonomously and use the space for community events

Constitutional objectives
The Trust has been formed to benefit the Community of Newburgh as defined by Postcode Sector KY14 6 ('the Community'), with the Purposes listed in the sub-clauses hereto ('the Purposes'), to be exercised following the principles of sustainable development (where sustainable development means development which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs), namely: 4.1 To conserve and manage, for the public benefit, community land and related assets in Newburgh, comprising all the Postcode Units within Postcode Area KY14 6 ('the Community') (provided that any works and/or activities carried out do not relieve any public authority of its statutory obligations and that any benefit to private landowners is greatly outweighed by the benefit to the general public). and 4.2 To advance the education of the public about the natural environment of the Community.
