02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The aim of the group is to advance the education and social development of pre-school children with the emphasis on the play experience. The aim is also to provide a social experience for parents and carers, especially those with new babies or who are new to the area. Parents and carers appreciate the community and support from people who can relate to their experience. Childminders who attend can provide advice on childcare. This is achieved by providing a safe and satisfying group play and learning experience in the local village hall through a weekly 1.5 hour session, 41 weeks of the year.
