02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
As the Trust's objectives are broad the Trustees have opted for a policy of making donations to charitable organisations who the Trustees believe can make significant front line impact as a result of that support. Currently the primary aims of the charity are to support the Scottish Council of the Scout Association both directly and indirectly through The Donald Searle Outdoor Activities Charitable Company. It is hoped that this support will assist in the growth of the Scout movement.
