02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Our charity exists to make cycling accessible for everyone, regardless of background, ability or income. We do this by repairing and recycling donated bikes, providing affordable refurbished bikes, and offering cycle training for all ages, including children, adults and those with additional support needs. We also run employability programmes that build practical skills, confidence and pathways into work. Through community outreach, free Dr Bike sessions and targeted projects in areas of disadvantage, we remove barriers to active travel and help people feel healthier, more connected and more included.
