02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The Philip David Gray Memorial Trust supports activities that can contribute both in the short and long term to the relief of poverty in Vietnam. Our primary focus is on education, including the support of Vietnamese university students who are financially challenged.

Constitutional objectives
(1) The relief of poverty in Vietnam, including, without detracting from the generality thereof, the improvement in the provision of healthcare to those in poverty in Vietnam and also the improvement of the national infrastructure in terms of the provision of water, power and transport to those in poverty in Vietnam. (2) The advancement of education in Vietnam. (3) The improvement in the natural environment of Vietnam. (4) The Trustees shall have power in their discretion to accumulate the Trust income in whole or in part for a period of twenty one years from the date hereof.
