What the charity exists to do
To encourage and promote community participation in healthy recreation by providing the facilities required for playing the sport of golf in Helmsdale. To provide affordable membership for all who wish to partake in the game of golf and generally preserve the golf course and buildings thereon as a valuable community amenity.

Constitutional objectives
To encourage and promote community participation in healthy recreation by providing the facilities required for playing the sport of golf in Helmsdale. In furtherance thereof, but not otherwise the club shall seek to maintain a golf course, associated facilities and to improve the same as and when necessary. To provide affordable membership for all who wish to partake in the game of golf and generally preserve the golf course and buildings thereon as a valuable community amenity.
