Constitutional objectives

To hold the Trust Funds in trust for distribution in such amounts as the Trustees shall from time to time determine on applications made in the case of (i) following by the Captain of that Company for the time. and in the case of (ii) (iii) and (iv) below in such manner as the Trustees may from time to time determine (i) to 1st' Bearsden Company of The Boys' Brigade ('the Company') for purposes associated with the Object of The Boys' Brigade, including but not limited to, the provision of equipment, financial support for the costs of leader or Boy training and development in case of need, financial support in case of need for Boy or young leader participation in training and development events, camps, and other educational purposes, or towards the development of facilities or provision of resources for the provision of activities and training for members of the Company generally intended to advance Christ's Kingdom among Boys. (ii) in the event of the Company ceasing to exist for any reason, for similar purposes to any other youth organisation in Scotland with the same or similar objectives including the advancement of the Christian religion and the advancement of education and training of young people in Scotland in general. (iii) to assist the charitable objectives of organisations working with young people for any of the purposes set out in sub-paragraphs (i) and (ii) hereof provided such organisations are recognised as charities in the United Kingdom. and (iv) for any other purpose which the law of the United Kingdom may from time to time regard as charitable.
