What the charity exists to do

The charity (church) provides a place of community, worship & training for people in Edinburgh whereby each person is given the opportunity to know the God of the bible and to express their living faith in real and practical ways amongst the people of Edinburgh and beyond. The core of the work includes Sunday services, home groups, mentoring, leaders training, children, youth, young adults work and various initiatives / groups that work in the community (cafe, crafts, befriending, SU Group, etc.)

To advance the Christian faith in accordance with the Statement of Beliefs Appearing in the Schedule annexed hetero and in particular in Edinburgh and in such other parts of the United Kingdom or the world as the directors may from time to time think fit. Such other purposes which are exclusively charitable according to the law of Scotland. To relieve persons who are in conditions of need or hardship or who are aged or sick and to relieve the distress caused thereby in the said Edinburgh and in such other parts of the United Kingdom or the world as the directors may from time to time think fit. The advancement of education in the said Edinburgh and in such other parts of the United Kingdom or the world as the Trustees may from time to time think fit. To promote and fulfil such other charitable purposes beneficial to the community in 'the said' Edinburgh and in such other parts of the United Kingdom or the world as the Trustees may from time to time think fit.
