Moray Hydrotherapy Pool

Constitutional objectives

(i) The promotion of public health and welfare in general and in particular of those who may be disadvantaged or socially excluded on account of disablement, ill-health or other condition of need by seeking to provide a hydrotherapy pool in the Council area of Moray to be located in Forres or, if impractical, then elsewhere in the Council area of Moray, with all related and desirable equipment and facilities, including the provision of staff and, after such provision has been made, to manage the facilities and to promote their use and to improve the same, repair, renew and expand as may be desirable for the continuing promotion of public health and welfare and to do all things incidental thereto. (ii)To promote the benefit of the inhabitants residing in the Council area of Moray and environs by associating the residents, voluntary organisations, health, education, sports and local authorities in a common effort to provide facilities in the interest of health and social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
