02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We were established to provide a safe, secure and warm space for the communities of Ayton village and of the wider area in which they can hold events, classes and gatherings. We also hold community events ourselves, run by volunteers, such as weekly coffee mornings and monthly film nights. The Trustees are the management committee which meets once a month and we have a membership of approximately 50 people who are invited to attend our AGM at which Trustees are appointed. We are wholly volunteer run and managed.
